Councillor John Yates, Liberal Democrat Spokesman for Education has welcomed the statement made by the County Council's Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr. Joan Kirkbride at the Children & Young Peoples Scrutiny Committee regarding the future of Braybrook Primary School.

He said: "The Liberal Democrats have had concerns at the reports in the local press regarding the provision of education at Braybrook Primary School. The Cabinet Member's proposal to preserve the current provision and to extend to secondary and potentially adult provision can only be a good thing for the Traveller Community".
