'No' to Conservative Cuts in County Hall on June 4th

Local parliamentary candidates Paul Varnsverry, Andrew Simpson and Scott Collins

In 2007, the Liberal Democrats won control of Northampton Borough Council for the first time.

Today, we have 26 councillors on Northampton Borough Council and 9 more on Northamptonshire County Council after two councillors - one Labour, one Conservative - crossed the floor to join us.

We won 9 out of 10 council seats in the marginal Westminster seat of Northampton North, with 54% of the vote in the last Borough Council elections. On 4th June, we will be working hard to win all ten seats in this year's County Council elections.

In Northampton South, we hold five Borough Council wards and two more on the County Council. This year, we are taking the fight to both Labour and the Conservatives across the constituency.

Help us return more councillors to County Hall by voting Liberal Democrat on June 4th.

Quotes of the Week

"On issue after issue, the Liberal Democrats have led the fight for real change while the Conservatives lagged behind. On the economy, on the environment and now on the real reform of politics, it is the Lib Dems that are offering something different."
